SAMPLE SALE
MFA Graphic Design Thesis Exhibition - PART III
Concluding the Sample project, Sample Sale transformed the installation into a functioning retail environment where every object became part of the brand system. A temporary storefront displayed limited-run garments, publications, totes, process artifacts, surveillance graphics, and archival material within a taped architectural grid that blurred the boundary between exhibition and commerce.
Rather than presenting work as static objects, the space invited visitors to participate in the economy it critiqued, demonstrating how branding, storytelling, and graphic design can operate simultaneously as installation, experience, and sustainable business model.

THE LOOK-BOOK
MFA Graphic Design Thesis Exhibition - PART II
Serving as the editorial archive of Sample, the lookbook documents the complete collection through fashion photography, product imagery, process documentation, and graphic design. Moving from finished garments to their origins, each spread presents the work with deliberate restraint, allowing white space, sequencing, and industrial branding to establish rarity without explanation.
Rather than functioning as a catalog, the publication becomes an extension of the brand itself, preserving the project's visual language while documenting the systems of production, consumption, and rejection that shaped the collection.

ARCHIVE-2026-001/015
MFA Graphic Design Thesis Exhibition - PART I
Sample is an experimental clothing design project that transforms discarded garments into documented, limited-run pieces.
Each piece begins as a thrifted, pre-owned blank and is screen-printed by hand as one of one "samples;" a term used in fashion for test garments that are often rejected, over-produced and thrown away before reaching consumers.
By treating the sample as the final product, sample reverses the logic of fast fashion and highlights the systems of desire, production and waste that drive modern clothing culture.
The collection combines industrial graphic language, satire and cultural reproduction to question how value is manufactured.

FIFA x ADIDAS

Combining motion design, live-action footage, archival World Cup broadcasts, and animation, FIFA × adidas explores the emotional rhythm of sport through a story-driven brand film. Moving between moments of doubt, discipline, and triumph, the piece positions the everyday athlete alongside football's most iconic stages to emphasize the game's universal identity.
Grounded in a lifelong connection to the sport, the work blends psychological storytelling with brand integration to capture the nostalgia, passion, and collective memory that define the world's game.

TAKE ONE
Created to promote Subtext, the MFA Graphic Design thesis exhibition at Otis College of Art & Design, Take One transformed a conventional invitation into a time-based environmental intervention. Gridded typography and removable invitation cards formed the phrase "TAKE ONE," encouraging participation while allowing the installation to physically change as visitors removed each card.
Within hours, the message dissolved into abstraction, demonstrating how interaction, typography, and audience behavior could become both the promotional strategy and the final outcome.

From logos, signage, and print collateral to social media campaigns and promotional graphics, the brand establishes a recognizable presence across every point of interaction.
As the business expanded its audience both in-store and online, the identity evolved alongside it, demonstrating how strategic design can shape culture, community, and commerce within the modern resale market.

MERCH BOOTH
Designed as a fictional concert merchandise stand, Merch Booth recontextualizes a semester of experimental work into a single immersive exhibition. Posters, apparel, album campaigns, brand concepts, and screen-printed artifacts are organized as collectible merchandise, inviting viewers to browse the installation rather than follow a linear presentation.
Each numbered section serves as an entry point into an individual project, transforming the exhibition into an archive of creative exploration across music, fashion, branding, and visual culture.

AURORA
Aurora marked the beginning of a long-term exploration into branding, fashion, and exhibition design through the creation of a conceptual winter apparel label. Presented as a complete brand ecosystem, the project combined garment design, screen printing, editorial photography, environmental display, and publication into a cohesive visual identity.
Centered around themes of sustainability, craftsmanship, and seasonal storytelling, the exhibition established the design systems and production methods that would continue to evolve throughout later work.
